Why is my windows update request failing?

Hi,

You may wish to try in an IE newsgroup or the WindowsUpdate group. This
group is for IIS problems - IIS is a piece of server software.

Goto Internet Options, add the "update.microsoft.com" to "trusted
sites" and the update should work.
