Hi all,
I'm new to Commerce Server 2002 and I'm trying to configure Direct
Mailer to use an SMTP server that requires login + password
authentication: I can't find a property where I can set those values
:-(
Is it possible to set somewhere the credentials needed by the SMTP
server?
Thank you in advance
Stefano

You can setup the Direct Mailer to send using the local SMTP Virtual Server
on your Commerce Server box. Then setup the SMTP Virtual Server to forward
these to your corporate mail server and configure the "Default SMTP Virtual
Server Properties", "Outbound Security" property for Basic Authentication or
Integrated Windows Authentication. This will send the username and password
to your corporate mail server.
