Hi All,

I am using Portal Server 5.0.2.
I am trying to disable the options like content publishing,Documents,My Work
and so on for simple portal Users. Only Previlidged User role need to have
access to them.
How do I do this?

With Admin login I used the "Assign Permissions" option, and revoked the acc
ess for the User role.
It worked for the "Content publishing" page only. All other pages still disp
lay for a user with no permissions.

Thanks,
Suchitra

You should focus on "Pages" and "Portlets" permissions, un-tick "Allow
Propagation " & "Allow Inheritance " maybe a fast way.
Just make sure the resource user !== "all authenticated portal users"

Thanks.
I have tried with the "Allow Propagation " & "Allow Inheritance ", for the s
ame case below. It does not work.

Also If I create my own group and add an User to it, automatically the user
is added to the "all authenticated portal users" group.
Does the all authenticated portal users" group have default permissions whic
h the Admin can't revoke?
