Hi,

I am running Windows 2000 server with IIS 5.0 SP4,
which is hosting a website which requires digest authentication.
Recently the website has stopped working. I have noticed that
the "Digest Authentication" box is now greyed out. I am able
to browse active directory from the server and have checked
the firewall logs for any drops and everything appears to be clear.
I have restarted the box and still the digest authentication box is
greyed out.

Has anyone got any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Thank you

John

Have you scanned your event logs around the time that website stopped
working? Are you aware of any hotfixes/patches that were applied to the
system around that time? What version of Active Directory are you connecting
to (Windows 2000/2003)?
