I have a customer who installed a new fax machine connect to an ATA and
can not Fax to the PSTN. The gateway is a 6608 blade. I don't have
anymore details yet, but is there anything obvious that could be the
problem? Faxing worked before the new fax machine, and a support
engineer confirmed the machine is not broken.

Thanks

Does the new Fax support Super G3 (33.6) and error correction mode(ECM)?
If so, turn both off. I have not been able to get faxes to work with
either of these enabled.

Our big Xerox work stations are a prefect example of ones we had to turn
this off on.
