How do I set up IIS6 SMTP to be a secondary serve? I have two Win2K3 server
s
and one runs IMail for our email. I would like to set up IIS's SMTP server
on the second box to be a secondary mail server so that if IMail should fail
,
it will hold the emails until IMail returns at which point it will forward
all held mail on to it.
I have searched through the support articles but cannot find any help on
this subject.

Many thanks,

Paul Sloman

Hi Paul,

Just set it up to run on port 25 and configure to forward all incoming to
your primary server (see the Smart Host option).
