What version of CM? Are you integrated with AD?

For some reason, we're not able to log in with the CCMAdminsitrator
account
anymore. We're a little concerned because we can't seem to change the
password. The documentation makes it seem like you can only change it
after
you log in as CCMAdministrator. I went through to HKLM\Software\Cisco
Systems, Inc.\Directory Configuration\AppUsers\CCMAdministrator and
found
that the password did not match what we thought it should match with
passwordutils.
If I change it in the registry, will that change it? We tried that and
it
didn't work, but we weren't sure which service to restart. Is that all
we
are missing? Which service should we restart?
Thanks!

Change it in the registry and run 'iisreset' from a cmd prompt.

Clarification, this will work if you are just synching the encrypted
password with what's in the directory.
If you need to change the directory password then go into SQL and
disable MLA, then restart iis, re-enable MLA, and reset the password
from within CCMAdmin.
