Hi Mindy,

MCMS has a different concept than standard html.
For MCMS links can only be made to other pages.

Binary objects are added either as an image or as an attachment.
So for your PDF you need to add the resource gallery item as an attachment.

Cheers,
Stefan

Does it mean I need to create an attachment everytime when I want to link it
(in more than 2 postings)? So, there are two copies of the same file store
in the database?

Thanks

Hi Mindy,

you need to create an attachment every time you link to it, yes.
But this will not create a new copy!
Only local attachments will kept separatly for every posting.
Resource gallery attachments are just linked to.

Cheers,
Stefan
