Hi David,
Please don't take this the wrong may but why are you having such a hard time
finding a developer? I remember you posting on my forum and I also remember
a direct email request.
I personally tend to get suspicious when I see these types of postings in
which people post jobs without any info about themselves, the company, the
project or anything to that effect. Sure we could call you or request more
info but many developers here are snowed under with work and haven't got the
time to follow up for info that should be provided in the first instance.
Moreover - and this may again be my personal opinion only - it doesn't help
if the request comes from a more or less anonymous email account such as
AOL, Hotmail or similar.

Response to Stefan:
I am looking for an FCS developer for a medical project for immediate
consideration. The way I do it and what e-mail address I use is a matter of
style.
You can develop a healthy sense of suspicion, that's OK, but try to pick up
on something with more substance. I guess, you probably have made the right
decision, not to make your living from being a detective...
If you are still not sure, or more important if you know a good developer,

In David's defense, telling 800 people a day, "Sorry, the job is no longer
available" gets old fast when 99% of not qualified to begin with. You think
you get spam now...

The reason that David is playing Cloak & Dagger, as well as why he's
not being so clear on what he's doing is that he's pretty much a
professional spammer.
You see... David has created a program called "U-Harvest". (Reference

In fact, he uses this program himself for his other company called

spamming mailing lists and others with his sales pitch.=20

I suspect the "medical" application he's talking about is his other

healthcare professionals. (Connection between David and upindirectory

to be honest, I believe him. I responded to your email a while back and
heard nothing back either, which like Stefan, raised my suspicion on if your
request is legit or not.. combined with an AOL account... guess it doesn't
matter anymore though.

If you say that I am posting the message just to get your stupid e-mail

the members of this forum.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.
Your reputation as a spammer precedes you on a lot of developer
communities. Many of us developers find spam unethical and usually
done in an illegal way. We're all tired of the spam we get, I don't
think many developers would knowingly be helping someone who sells
products and services designed to increase the spam we receive.
(Seriously, look at UHarvest mentioned in my last post. Tell me there
are legitimate uses for a program that scans entire websites to
"harvest" the email addresses from it)
However, this is one of your first posts to this list, so I don't
think the majority of people here are familiar with your history, as
some of us are on other lists and forums.
I piped up because your original post(as is usual for you) was vague
enough that for anyone to figure out what the job was they would have
had to contact you.
You've been constantly looking for developers (mailing list posts,
usenet posts, forum posts, etc) for years now, as evidenced by
Google's history. Either you're trying to build up a database of
developers, or you're going through programmers incredibly quickly
which says a lot about your relationship with developers. Either way,
I'm trying to save everyone else the legwork of figuring out your
history.
