Windows 2003
IIS6

I've been trying to set up two ftp areas and specify which users can see
which area. I've given the root area list only permission and then the
usergroup for each of the two groups full access to their specific area.

Am I right in thinking that to get the specific user to go straight to the
area that they are allowed to see, I have to create a virtual directory for
each user of the same name and set the home dir of the virtual directory so
that it catches the login and directs it as necessary ?

Thanks
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

Welcome to Microsoft newsgroup!

Yes, you are right. For current issue, you need to create a virtual
directory for each user to implement this function under the isolate users'
mode.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for your post!

We hope the next generation can supply more functions for the current
