Hi

I am getting the following error message in the Event Viewer when using
an Updategram to insert into a table on a remote SQL Server Machine and
receive data from table in receive port on remote SQL server.

The adapter "SQL" raised an error message. Details "New transaction
cannot enlist in the specified transaction coordinator. ".

The SQL Server machine is running Windows 2000
BizTalk 2004 machine is running windows 2003 with Network DTC Access
turned on for Network Admin & Network Transactions.

Thanks for the help.

The SQL Server machine is running on remote Windows 2000 with cluster
BizTalk 2004 machine is running windows 2003 with Network DTC Access
turned on for Network Admin & Network Transactions.

I checked some article it say For W2K the defalut DTC Security on port
(3372) is open
For W2K3 the defalut DTC security on the port is closed.

Should i open 3372 port to connect remote SQL Server.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,
I had a similar problem. Follow this kb
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d....asp?frame=true
Be sure to reboot the SQL server after the completion.

Good luck.

Hi,

Still doesn't work?
We've used the DTC Tester tool before on a different machine.
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;293799

Please post back if you get it to work.

Good luck again.
