Personally, I think it should be up to the last redirecting party that shoul
d pay the toll. Let's say a client calls me, and I've forwarded my office ph
one to my cottage. Why should the client pay the toll? It was me who made th
e decision to play hookie. The same goes for transfering calls.
We've had a request for people to forward their phones off-campus and have h
ad to restrict that to local calls only because of the ways CDRs are cut. If
we have more requests we're going to have to work with our CDR billing firm
to make sure they follow through on the CDR and catch those. A bit of a pai
n if you ask me.
