Hi!

here is my configuration

A read/write intranet MCMS site, on a domain.
Accessing the site with Internet Explorer, everything is fine, the
windows-user is automatically detected.

But when accessing the site with firefox, i'am always prompted to enter a
domain user name/pwd. Indicating the same user, it's then work fine.

Is there a way to disable this prompting with firefox, without enambling
anonymous acces in IIS?

thanks !

Hello Dref,

as far as I know Firefox is not able to do Windows Authentication
automatically. Only IE can. I think the only possibility for Firefox is to
have anonymous access or to switch to another form of login (forms based for
example).

Cheers,
Dominik

Hi Dominik,

Firefox can use Basic authentication as well.

Cheers,
Stefan
