Good for you, I could only wish. I am getting there in age. I hope to cut
back to just consulting in the areas of my expertise (high Hp motors and
drive systems) and turn over my day to day managerial role (and a lot of
writing of documents and very specialized software) to someone else. I have
been "in love" with big motors and drive systems, 5,000 Hp and up, for many
years. It is too hard to break that love affair permanently. Some of these
motors get up to 22 feet in diameter. One tiny mistake and it could be a
gigantic ball of fire and a million dollars or more in damage. It is nerve
wracking but a personally rewarding feeling when I am done and watch the
motor spin. That is when I get a "high"

Amazing. I didn't know that could be done. I am far from an expert on the
Internet. My use is mostly business and family E-mail, posting to a few
hobby groups under my nyms, and on rare occasion using a VPN to my home,
office, or customer computer system from the road or from my home (not the
re-mailer PC, it is separated from the home network). My young engineers
set everything up, I don't have a clue how it works it just does

I don't know the final outcome, but I have been reassured by (uh, hmm the
ISP) upper management that the problem will not recur <G>. I would hate to
see an account pulled on anybody, a good spanking is OK since no real harm
was done. I prefer that the guy (I don't know his name <snicker> ) stay
with same ISP. That way his activities will be watched by the ISP
<snicker>.
That includes the use of proxies, open relays, or Tor to bother re-mailers
(of which a certain ISP is now aware of, and will watch for).
I also made it quite clear to the (uh, hmm ISP) that if it recurs, they
would be complicit and actions taken against both under Federal Laws and
Civil Litigations. By knowing of his past actions and allowing him to
remain a customer exposes them to liability for his actions. I have
excellent and extremely willing legal counsel to guide me on any actions
<G>.
Our "pet rabbit" won't be bothering re-mailers again <snicker>
Very happy you are around here. Now I know who to turn to for help. Thanks
so much for bringing some thing to light. I am happy you enjoyed it. It
makes me feel good too
Usually us re-mailer operators just take a bashing. It is so refreshing to
see the opposite. You have renewed my faith and dedication to keeping this
re-mailer up and running.
My warmest and most sincerest regards,
