I use FrontPage 2002 with the server extensions enabled. I've been using the
program to publish to my web site for two years without any problems.
Recently, however, I bought a new computer. I moved my web site files over
without any apparent problems and reinstalled FrontPage 2002 on the new
machine. Unfortunately, now, whenever I try to publish a change to the site

get the following error message:

Server Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file
"C:\Documents and Settings\...[the location of my web site
files]...\_vtipvt\service.cnf. Please check the file permissions.

Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do to restore my ability to
publish remotely?

How did you move the files?
If from a CD remove all read only attributes from all files & folders
