Hello,

I had a problem downloading files from an ftp site that had a virtual
directory that was an NTFS compressed folder.

I could download small files or have a short download sessions but when
downloading large files or have a long download session the download suddenl
y
stopped. I checked and found that there is an FTP TCP connection open to the
server but nothing was happening. I tried many things until I check the NTFS
folder that the virtual directory was using and found that it is a compresse
d
folder. After uncompressing the folder I had no problems downloading large
files and having a long download sessions.

Did anyone else encountered this strage behaviour?

Oded

Weird, but no - haven't see this before. From my simple test, compressed
folder with 10mb file upload via ftp.exe doesn't give me any problem.
