Ok, finally got it working, thanks to all your help.
I'm feeling rather stupid here, as I should have thought about ports
straight away, but I didn't realise that our network setup would have
changed with the new router configuration... So all I needed was to open
port 1935 on the router, and hey presto.
Btw, both the relative and absolute paths are working now.
