Hello,
I'm config Biztalk Server 2004 SP1. The installation was gone fine!
During the configuration wizard, I must configure the url of BASSite :
It give me :
http://(myhost)/sites/BASSite

but if I click ok it tells me :
"You are attempting to install BAS on a virutal server...."

If I try to do :
http://(myhost):32633/

I enter in the Central Administrator Page
I have tried to do :
http://(myhost):32633/sites/BASSite

but it doesn't works!

Reading the Help of Biztalk, It tells :
On the Windows SharePoint Services Site Configuration page do the following:

Title Type a name for the SharePoint Services Site.
Description Type a description for the site.
Site Email Type an email address for the site owner. The email address must
be valid.

I don't understand where I must configure these!! In the "Central
Administration"??
What section?

Thanks,
Francesco

I have tried to go to :
Create a top-level Web site
from Central Administrator WSS, but the list is emptry.

I have gone on "Virtual Server List", and I see:
Default Web Site http://(localhost) Not Installed

I don't see any button to create a new Web Site.
How can I do to create BASSite in WSS??

Thanks,
Francesco

Hi,

You are on the right track. You must first configure Windows Sharepoint
Services before it can be used for BAS. To configure Windows Sharepoint
Services, do the following:

1. Open the Central Admin WSS
2. Click on "Extend or Upgrade Virtual Server" link
3. Click on the default web server link
4. On the page that comes up, enter the email address and choose NTLM for
the security mode, and then click on OK

This will create a content database for the default web site. At this
point, you have successfully configured Windows Sharepoint Services.

Now that you have Windows Sharepoint Services configured, you can restart
Biztalk configuration (run configframework.exe) and when you get to the BAS
page, use http://<localhost>/sites/BASSite. Config will create a site call
BASSite and all the BAS artifacts will reside here.

HTH,
Gary
