Hi Kai-Uwe,

There are no plans to support Sql 2005 with BTS 2004. We are in beta 2 for B
TS 2006 now and it is NOT a long way to ship BTS 2006.

You could however use the SQL receive adapter/SQL send adapter for Biztalk 2
004 to read/write data to SQL 2005 on a remote server. We do not support usi
ng any new SQL 2005 functionality with SQL adapter
for Biztalk 2004.

Thanks,
Derek [MSFT]

Hi Derek,

will there come a BTS 2004 service pack which allows the usage of SQL 2005
with BTS 2004. It's still a long way to go for BTS 2006 and our customer
wants to start using SQL 2005 before summer.

Best regards,

Kai-Uwe
