Sorry if this is a repeat question:

Is it possible to install BizTalk 2004 on SQL Server 2005 (without SQL
Server 2000 instance)? I see no point in having multiple instances of SQL
Server running on my PC and would like to have just one default instance for
everything.

Please help.

I beleive that SQL Server 2005 is not supported with Biztalk 2004. However
you can do this with Biztalk 2006 beta.

Hope this helps.

Biztalk 2004 databases cannot reside on SQL 2005, but Biztalk 2004
SQL/Adatper can access user databases that reside on SQL 2005.

Biztalk 2006 databases of course can reside on SQL 2005.
