Hi

Could someone suggest a few good programs (commercial or freeware)
generating online statistics for the portal build on MCMS?

Best Regards

Darek Tomon

Hello Dariusz,

Pretty much any regular web stats package will work great.
I've used WebTrends (very expensive) Site Server, Commerce Server, Analog
and SiteStats.
The best bet is the IIS Report Pack for SQL Server Reporting Services

You need to convert CMS urls in the IIS Log files into 'friendly' URLs first
with the utility at:

Dariusz-

Google have recently come out with a webtrends-esque service- except
that it is free (I think- although it may be restricted at the moment)

they describe it as:

"Google Analytics tells you everything you want to know about how your
visitors found you and how they interact with your site. You'll be able
to focus your marketing resources on campaigns and initiatives that
deliver ROI, and improve your site to convert more visitors"

The following link should give you me info.
http://www.google.com/analytics/

cheers

Devo
