Erik,
You have a DNS lamer. The root servers for dot-net believe that
ns2.mind.net is authoritative for aarg.net (see output from d and g
root servers below). However, ns2.mind.net does not believe it's
authoritative. I suggest you update your delegation records with
tucows and/or fix ns2.mind.net.
$ dig @d.gtld-servers.net. -t ns aarg.net. +short
ns.mind.net.
ns2.mind.net.
$ dig @g.gtld-servers.net. -t ns aarg.net. +short
ns.mind.net.
ns2.mind.net.
$ dig @ns2.mind.net. -t ns aarg.net. +short
ns.aarg.net.
