Hi all,

I am having a problem with the Search Centre portlet in relation to anonymou
s users (currently using Websphere Portal 5.1.0.2) and the following error i
s displayed:

[ServletException in:/scenes/queryView.jsp] Error. Foundation tag could 
not find WclFacade in the session scope with id LwpFacade.'

We have followed technotes provided by IBM - given anonymous access to the p
ortlet, it's associated page, and the PSE search collections.

But it still continues to happen - does anyone have any suggestions as to wh
at this could be??

Any help would be greatly appreciated??

Make sure anonymous have a session!

Thanks Dennis - we have actually made the changes to the properties file to 
enable session for anon users - anything we may have missed??

We have changed the following:
in NavigatorService.properties
public.session = false to public.session = true

in ConfigService.properties
uri.home.substitution = false to uri.home.substitution = true

As i recall for WPS 5.1.0.1, Search Center portlet is only available for reg
istered users. For anonymous users you should use Seach and Browse portlet.

please re-install the universalSearchPortlet.war that was included in the AP
AR/iFix.  This file is located in the \PortalServer\installableApps director
y..

go to Administration..Portlet Management.. Web Modules.. to update this WAR 
file..

the error you reported should have been fixed with the new WAR file.

could you specify exactly which APAR/iFix is in question, I couldn't find an
ything that matches your description from the WPS download driver pages...

says:-
You might want to enable unauthenticated users to search public pages of you
r portal. In this case put the Search and Browse portlet or the Search Cente
