We are upgrading from 5.5 to 5.6.1.1 on Windows with a DB2 database -

Using 5.6 code, I'm finding that in situations where I expect the resolver t
o pull the existing id from the db, the tool is generating new ids, as if th
e record doesn't exist (which it does).  Now when I replaced the 5.6 wcs.jar
 with the 5.5 wcs.jar, the
file resolves as expected, which tells me the problem is not in our database
 but may be due to some change in the idresgen package which I am unable to 
find.  Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have any suggestions?
