Hello,

I am currently experiencing some problems in our MCMS. I am getting a lot
of calls from our users that are stating that they are not able to save
their content when updating and/or creating pages.

This is the scope of what is happening: The users are clicking on the
"Edit" or "Create New Page" links to enter some content. They make their
changes in the placeholder control, then click on "Save & Exit." Normally,
the posting is supposed to go back to the page with a page status of
"Saved," with the changes/additions reflected on the page. However, when
the user click on "Save & Exit," they are getting the same page but none of
the content changes are reflected.

This is happening most when user cut & paste content into the placeholder,
and also when users are trying to hyperlink some text on the page. There
are, however, some cases where the page just does not appear to save even
when more text is added.

Most of the users appear to be able to publish through the Authoring
Connector (AC) to get around this, but the AC is not the best option for all
of our users.

Can anyone shed some light on the nature of this problem, and a possible
solution?

Thanks in advance,
a.bean

Hi Andrew,

please open a support case for this.
We will need to analyze a network monitor trace to see the request and
response streams to understand what's going on.

Cheers,
Stefan
