Hi,

Im a complete newbie to apache and I have a question. I recently installed t
he latest version of XAMPP so that I can use php mostly and test them locall
y without the use of the internet. I was told that I would need a webserver 
to test php pages and that I couldn't do it without. I cant seem to set it u
p though. Everything as far as I can tell is working correctly but I dont kn
ow how to upload to the localhost which is the machine I am working on offli
ne. Can you please help.

Easily put your files in to the Htdocs folder this is:

Your Xampp Install Dictory / htdocs
example:
C:\Programms\xampp\htdocs

than you can open your browser and tip in:

http://localhost/yourphpfile.php
