I am having problems viewing pages on amazon.com. I am using FF 1.5. Is it
Firefox or is much of their content not compatible?

check your settings under Tools, Options, Content, and make sure that
"Load Images" is checked and "for the originating website only" is
unchecked.

This means that the images comes from other servers than the
originating one.

It is. I thought it might be my Adblock extension, but I even had problems
in safe mode. Some pages wouldn't even display anything at all. They all
view ok in IE though.

on the same area as above, make sure that Javascript is checked. Then
in the address bar, type in about :config and look for this entry:

dom.disable_image_src_set

when found, double click on it and change it to false
