Hi,

Can somebody please tell the purpose of bamAnalysis & bamAnalysisDB
databases in Analysis services?

I have noticed that BAMAnalysis doesn't have any cube or datasources;
What could be the reason for that?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
BAMAnalysisDB is used for aggregating the data. Its is required when you wan
t to have cubes to view to aggregate the data.
Probably the reason why you are not seeing the cube sin the BAMAnalysis is t
hat you have not deployed any cubes.
Did you deploy any BAM Activity/View? If yes, have you defined cubes in the 
view?
