Hi,

I installed FPSE through Add Remove Programs, Add Components. I'm currently
running Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0. I'm trying to figure out if my FPS
E
is working. I have tried http://www.dnswiz.com/fptype.htm and it came back
saying my server does not have FPSE. My question is how do I find out if FPS
E
is actually working? Also, is there anything else I need to do except instal
l
it?

Any ideas/pointers are very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Installing the extensions doesn't mean that they're applied to the virtual
server instances. Installing them just makes them available. I haven't toyed
with my admin pages in Win 2003 in a while, but you need to apply the
extensions to the virtual server instances you want them on. Before this was
easy through the IIS MMC tasks for the virtual server, but for the life of
me I can't remember the exact procedure in Win 2003.

Hope this helps,

hi Mr Fitzpatrick,

Thanks for responding so quickly.

I did run something and now I do have the virtual server administration on
IE. I'm not sure if that was what you were referring to. However, I do not
have the extend link that I can add to.

Thanks again for your help.
