Just as an aside, I'm not using any of Stefan's enhancements on the current
project I'm on (for a change!) but I was getting a MissingFieldException on
the same bit of code... ViewAsList.

It only started when I applied SP2 (it was SP1a).

Removing the 'Selected=True' from the .aspx fixed my problem as well.
