I'm configuring BTS 2006. I'm at the Group page when the configuration fails
with this message:

Could not deploy 'Microsoft.BizTalk.KwTpm.RoleLinkTypes' on computer
'SR-DEV2K3-BIZ02'. Please check if BizTalk is installed correctly.

All help welcome!

I am also having this problem, which is a complete show-stopper.
With me, however, it occurs when trying to configure the BizTalk Runtime.

The wizard shows a checkmark in the configuration status area, but at the
finish panel, it shows the failure, and when I double click on it, it
displays the exact same mesage.

XP Pro SP2, SQL Server 2005.

Hi Edwin,

Have you tried granting NETWORK SERVICE access to the Windows temp folder?
If that doesnt fix the issue can you forward me the config log. You can
send it to me directly at bhaskark@microsoft.com

Thanks,

Bhaskar

Yes, that seemed to fix the problem. After going through a gauntlet of
problems with SSO et. al., I finally got the installation completed.

I've installed BizTalk several times before, but never had this much trouble
before.

Thanks for the help.
