I will migrate production site from Site Server 3.0 to Commerce Server 2002
but no detailed idea how to migrate.

Can somebody give me some detailed ideas or instructions to migrate? Thanks

Hi zbx888,

You'll need to go through the following articles and use an appropriate
combination

1. Migrating from Site Server to Commerce Server 2000 available at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/?...
asp?frame=true

2. Migrating a Commerce Server Site from ASP to ASP.NET available at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/?....asp?frame=true

Hi zbx888,

No, What I wanted to tell you was that you'd need to combine the information
available in the two articles and use it in your effort to migrate.

Hi Ravi,

In lines with the migration, I have 2 question.
1. Can Commerce Server 2002 go with SQL Server 2005
2. If not, and we migrate to CS 2006 then do I have to re-built my site with
ASP.NET, currently site runs of Classic ASP 3.0

Pls ur answeres will be very important to us.

Thanks,
Amit

Hi Amit,

Does CS2002 support SQL 2005 - No. CS2006 will
Will you need to migrate to ASP.Net 2.0 for running on CS2006 - Yes. ASP is
not supported on CS2006.

Silly Q but why not migrate to ASP.Net ?
