It looks like that's going to support SIP --- which CCM5.0 does support
 
I now have an Asterisk box that supports SIP clients and routes their
calls to the CCM.
 
I'm having some trouble routing calls back the other way- supposedly
that works too- 
there's probably just smoething wrong with my SIP trunk on CCM 
 
so I'd be interested in trying on Asterisk -- bet it works great...
 
I use a wireless Zyxel phone now on SIP, connected to Asterisk.
