Hi all,

Has anyone got any good links on restoring Commerce Server 2000? I can't
find anything on Technet.

Cheers,

John

Hi John,

Have you had look at the MSIB 2.1 documentation ? I remember seeing
something there w.r.t availability, backup & restore.

Ideal would be a backup of the <sitename>_commerce & <sitename>_dwh
databases + production PUP. If you want to drill further then I'd suggest
creating a separate DB for Transactions Resource and using good all SQL Log
Shipping on this resource for faster recovery ...

On second thoughts and more search yielded this documentation
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d....asp?frame=true

Though this is for 2002, there is not much different from what you'd abe
able to do with 2000 also...
