Blankhello professionals,

i would like to know what's wrong with my two pc connected in a diffrent dom
ain network...

legend:
dom1=Domain1
dom2=Domain2
pc1=Win2k Advanced Server
pc2=Win2k Pro Client

pc1 is a member server of Domain2 with a shared folder called "users" and al
l clients must have this path.
pc2 is an authenticated client from Domain1.

the problem is, all other client computers of Domain1 can access the shared
folder of pc2 but there is only
one pc that cannot acces it from Domain1.. the error i always received is "N
etwork path cannot be found!" everytime i map that shared folder from pc2.

i tried to ping the two pc (pc1 & pc2) with each other and both of them got
a correct ip addresses.
i also tried pathping, and i think there's a problem but not specified...

everytime i use pathping with each other (pc1 & pc2), each computer don't di
splay/show the computer name of the remote pc both pc1 & pc2.

what seems to be the problem?

thanx in advance!

You'd better install NetBEUI Protocol on PC2 and try onr more time.

==================================

A good starting point would be to run this command
from a Command Prompt on PC1 and PC2, and include
the contents of PC1.txt and PC2.txt in your reply.

On PC1:  ipconfig  /all  > c:\PC1.txt
On PC2:  ipconfig  /all  > c:\PC2.txt
