Me and two other friends are getting together to do a novice project in
C under UNIX. We're going to make a hybrid AIM-IRC client from scratch;
that includes everything form protocol back-ends to CLI and later
possibly GUI. We're all in high school, and relatively new to C. If your
also new to C and want to get some practice working with a team on a
project, then let me know: rutski89@gmail.com No real experience
necessary, in fact, real experience is frowned upon :-p

You might want to consider having one person with some real world
engineering experience on your team to help steer things. They could
provide you with a good learning experience so you would get a good
idea how things are done, what pitfalls to avoid, etc. You don't
necessarily need them to be really involved in development just
steering the excercise so you will get more out of it.

That's not a bad idea at all, if we find someone who's up for that, we'd
definitely go for it.
