Hi,
At the company I work for we are currently developing a new website for a ch
arity organisation. On this website each user got his/her own profile which
should be accessible as a subdomain of the website. For instance if my login
name is 'Black2lip' then other people should be able to visit my profile on
'http://Black2lip.domain.com'.
It's a quite big server park with a high security level with firewalls, load
balancers, switches, SSL accelerators etc. There are two loadbalancers who d
ivide the visitors to one of the four identical production servers. All thes
e servers are running on Windows 2000 with IIS as webserver.
The DNS server is hosted by a 3rd party and now I'm wondering how it is poss
ible to forward the subdomain to a user profile.
Any help would be great,
Regards B2L
