I am using the ring component that uses shared object to send alerts to
connectd users. It works perfectly when I publish my application to FCS
applications folder on my local develpment machine (which has FCS 1.5 and
Apache) but when I publish the same file to FCS applications folder that is
on the public deployment webserver (with FCS 1.5 and Apache), it does not
work.

All files on both FCS installation folders are identical. Its worth also
mentioning that the ring component is only a part of my application which is
functioning perfectly on both development and deployment webserver. The
problem is only with the ring component. In the Communication application
inspector I can see the FCRing.ring_mc.ring temporary shared object. When I
press the ring button I can see that the messages out and in of shared
object increase. Any suggestions, please? I am really stuck on this one and
do not know what to do ??

Amjad
