In FP2003 when I try to use the  server extensions and click on View, the
"Remote Web Site" is not activated to upload pages to the server. Server has
given me the user id and password but I cant get that far... Under View the
six block under Page are all muted including the Remote Web Site block

Are you opening your files as part of a web? If you open an HTML file in
FrontPage by itself you won't have these features. If you first create a web
and place your files in it, you should then be able to open your web and see
the Remote Web Site properties enabled.
