Hi,
Thanks, I've seen that list but was just wondering if anyone had experience
with any of those companies and how are they.
I was looking at influxis or perhaps flvhosting.com but wasn't quite sure of
there reliability as they are quite cheaper than the other providers

I use Influxis and have rarely had problems. I do not, however, run
anything significant on them; 10 users max, so cannot speak to loaded apps.
But, they've worked when I use it, so that's what matters to me.
If you're down in Oz, you might try to see if Austiger is in your price
range. While I cannot vouch for their service as I havne't used it, I can
vouch for Craig; he's the man!

did you deal with users on slower connections and if the users were local or

The flvs must work with users on 256kbps ADSL. Users will be here in

I use vitalstream for live events, the largest audience at one time was 800
users at ~300kbps. Worked well according to stats, no complaints from
viewers. Pretty reasonable pricing also.
I am in Canada and according to their network map they have no servers in
the country, the closest was Rochester and service was good with a 3 to 6
second lag.
