1. Check the boot order in your BIOS settings. CD should be first.
2. Try mounting the CD, checking its MD5sum if possible, and reading
files from it. It may be damaged or dirty.
3. Try to boot other CDs in case the CD drive is failing or a cable is
loose.
The problem is certainly with the BIOS or hardware, not either of your
operating systems.
