Hi All,
Heres the senario, we have a 3 node win2003 cluster all serving from
locally attached storage. The wait time between full syncs is a hassel
for the developers. These servers are intranet servers. Everything is
behind the firewall. We are sync'ing about 15Gb of data. A propose
solution would be to take the web content off the local storage, and
mount a NetApp device to all three servers. So the wed content for all
three servers would come from a single file location. No syncs needed.
How do Microsoft products handle this senario? What if two writes were
to happen at the same time. Can IIS6 over come a file lock from say
FrontPgae or some other Office product that is editing a file?
Thanks in advance.
