I create MCMS Web Application with .net 1.1 - on default web site. My
CMS web site is on different port, and it is not on default web site
i create template galery and 2 templates
>From Web Author i choose Create New Page and when choose one of my
created templates i recieve next messages.
This is not where I store my solution files? To which directory have to
point template project? And the CMS site?
Or do all CMS applications have to
reside in the above directory??

Hi,

a MCMS web application can only be used on a MCMS enabled website.
You need to enable the default website as MCMS website using the SCA.

10x for help,  i did it, but now recieve :
HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
i already enabled default web site as CMS site

i'll try do describe exacly the situation
i have mcms site on port 8088,
when i create MCMS application with .net 2003 it is created on default
web site on port 80.
from WebAuthor i can se my new created template galery with new test
template which i want to use to create page in cms site. When i browse
templates and select the test template i recieve
HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied.

sounds as if this specific website is not MCMS enabled. Please double check.
