When starting Portal Server....

I attempted to upgrade 5.01 to 5.02 - removed 5.01 fp's, installed
R5.02, but when starting Portal Server app, I get the above error when
attempting to access the URL.

in SystemOut.log, I have the following:

3/5/04 18:30:15:812 CST] 20487bfb RoleBasedAuth A SECJ0305I: Role based
authorization check failed for security name <null>, accessId
no_cred_no_access_id while invoking method
stop:java.lang.Boolean:java.lang.Integer on resource Server and module
Server.

realize init() exception thrown by servlet portal:
javax.servlet.UnavailableException: Initialization of one or more
services failed.

In the command box - when trying to start WebSphere_Portal - it
complains about a conflict with port 8881 and fails to start the Portal,
even though there is no port 8881 specified anywhere in any
configuration I can find.

Hi,
I have the same error with Websphere 5.1 with patches.
Did you resolve this problem and if so how ?
I am struggling to find information on it.
Regards,
Kathryn
