I am appending to level 7 tables using dbase plus demo. I dont wont to make 
any difference between null fields and empty fields. I tried SET AUTONULLFIE
LDS OFF, however it did not work. Could anyone help me sort out this problem

I don't think that the "append from" command supports the autonullfield
setting.
you will need to default the fields yourself.
