Hi Ivan,
ensure that the following hotfixes are installed on the SP2 machine:

Then do the following steps:
1) create a copy of the database
2) run the DCA on the new server and choose the database (will migrate to
SP1a)
3) run the DCA again on the new server (will migrate the database to SP2)
4) copy over the template project
5) configure the template project virtual directory as a web application
using IIS MMC
6) create the "CMS" virtual directory inside the template project pointing
to "IIS_CMS" and ensure that this virtual directory is NOT configured as a
web application.
That's all.
