Hello everyone,

I'm attempting to use the FLVPlayback component in Flash 8 to connect to FMS
and play back some pre-recorded streams. It sits with a pre-existing an fair
ly
complex client/server structure which involves authentication. I do this by
passing a parameter in the connect method like: nc.connect(server, false,
password). On the server-side, my application.onConnect() function accepts t
his
password parameter and deals with it.

The problem is that FLVPlayback will not pass the password parameter in the
connect method (obviously). What is the simplest way to modify FLVPlayback o
r
NCManager to accept this parameter. Time is an issue for me and reusability
less so, a dirty hack would do nicely if anyone can help. Can I make a copy
of
NCManager.asc and modify it somehow?

Cheers

Kev
