Hello all,

With that said here is my question.

I am running Redhat 9.0. I boot into text mode and after about 10-20
seconds My screen goes black and I loose power to the monitor for a
second when the screen comes back it is black.
If I am in Xwindows I do not have this problem until I open up a
terminal. Then the screen flickers for about 7-10 seconds and then my
video comes back. It will do this untill I close the terminal. Then I
have no problems. I can be in X for hours playing video games and I
still do not have this problem. Only when I open a terminal and or
stay in text mode.

I am running a Geforce 4 MX 460 I have installed drivers.

here is my XF86Config

# XFree86 4 configuration created by pyxf86config

# RgbPath is the location of the RGB database. Note, this is the name
of the

# no need to change the default.

# Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are concatenated
