I've read and incorporated Peldi's bandwidth detection in a number of
projects, but now I'm looking to this group for some more direction.
The rough idea would be to use FMS to run a bandwidth detection script,
and be able to save/write the results to assist our marketing department
with tracking numbers on the user's bandwidth at various points on our
sites. =20

What's the capability of working server side to output and collect the
results of bandwidth detection?  And which direction should I look in to
begin concepting such a solution? =20

There are several approaches for sending serverside variables to a database.
Which version of FCS/FMS are you running?
