    Admin console failures

Hello Everyone.

I'm having a problem with the FMS2 admin console connecting to a
particular server. Whatever the problem is, it's causing the admin .swf
to freeze, and display the "a script in this movie is causing the
flashplayer to run slowly..." warning.

I'm thinking this has to do with the fact that there are hundreds of
application directories on the problem server, and I'm hoping someone
can confirm my suspicions (or key me in to a problem I'm not aware of)

The weird thing is, I can connect if I'm already connected to another
server. If I connect to the problem server from the login screen, the
console immediately freezes.

If I log in to a different server first, and then log in to the problem
server while looking at the "manage servers" panel, the connection to
the problem server succeeds. When I switch to the "View Applications"
panel, the console starts to run slowly, and eventually freezes.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Jay

I get this with just a handful of applications and really small traffic
numbers on the server. Every time I leave the console running for a few
days it is likely to show that warning. The browser also seems to go
pretty high in memory use (80mb +) after a day or two.

Not sure if this is related, but the CPU load graph usually shows 50%
or, as of recently a solid 100% on my console, even if there's
absolutely nothing running, no connections open, and the server CPUs are
at 0%. Everything seems to be working just fine, but the admin console
feels CPU is constantly at the limit...

Peter
